I've searched for a place where I can stay.
But kindness and joy seem far away,
And hope fades with each passing day.
Where do I go from this point of despair?
When all around me seems so unfair.
Broken and bruised, beyond repair,
I wonder if anyone truly cares.
Families once close, now torn apart,
Leaving behind aching hearts.
Friendships that once felt like art,
Now shattered, tearing me apart.
And love, oh love, a complex game,
Full of promises that end in shame.
I'm lost in a world that's lost its flame,
Wondering if anything will ever be the same.
